The building complex includes a 35-story residential tower, a two-level of retail space, a 7-level 1000-car parking garage and a huge roof top recreational space. The landscaped recreational space includes a swimming pool, a tennis court and a jogging track among other amenities for the building residents along with a spectacular view of the Manhattan skyline, Hudson River and Statue of Liberty. Architectural design is by the renowned firm of Costas Kondylis for Panepinto and Ironstate developers. ADG’s design called for 8-inch reinforced concrete flat plate construction for the towers, whereas the retail/parking structure was constructed using post-tensioned concrete slabs which allowed the use of 8-inch thin slabs for spans of 30-ft. Use of post tensioned concrete construction for the suspended swimming pool on the roof allowed shallower depths yielding the necessary clear heights below.
